Decmil Group Ltd. (Decmil or Company) disclosed Tuesday that a wholly owned subsidiary, Decmil Australia Pty Ltd. (DA) has secured a new two year Framework Agreement with QGC Pty Ltd. (QGC) (being a wholly owned subsidiary of BG Group) for brownfield Projects within the Surat Basin in Queensland, Australia.

The Framework Agreement will span the remainder of 2016 and to April 2018 and the scope includes the provision of construction activities, structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) services across a number of QGC's brownfield projects.

DA has been working with QGC in the Surat Basin for the past five years under a contract that involves the installation of wellheads and its entry into brownfield services for QGC is an extension to the existing relationship DA has with QGC.

Works are expected to commence in June.

According to a statement announcing the sale, RockPile selected White Deer from a number of other potential financial sponsors due to their shared vision for the future of the company.

EIA 2016年度能源展望预测石油、天然气和煤炭占美国能源消耗的比例到2040年会下降到76.6%。超出预料的政策变化或技术突破可以明显的改变上述预测结果。

2015年美国可再生能源的消费比例达到自20世纪40年代来的历史最高，接近10%。过去10年时间里，可再生能源消费的增长集中在太阳能和风能。近几年液体生物燃料的使用也逐步增多，提高了可再生能源的消费份额。

下滑幅度最大的能源为煤炭，在2015年美国煤炭消费份额下降13%，是过去50年一年之内下滑幅度最大的化石燃料。同样的情况在2009和2012年也发生过，当时下滑达到12%。

在EIA的预测中：到2040年，受燃油效率提升与交通运输持续增长的双重影响，石油消费份额与当下持平。煤炭消费将继续下降，尤其在电力行业。工业和电力行业中，天然气消费将上升。

核能、水力等电力燃料到2040年将保持相对平稳。包括木材和乙醇、生物柴油等液体生物燃料的生物燃料将会保持平稳。相比之下，风能和太阳发展最快，会相继超过生物燃料和核能，到2040年可能会超过煤炭的份额。

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Three fossil fuels—petroleum, natural gas, and coal—have provided more than 80% of total U.S. energy consumption for more than 100 years. In 2015, fossil fuels made up 81.5% of total U.S. energy consumption, the lowest fossil fuel share in the past century. In EIA's Annual Energy Outlook 2016 Reference case projections, which reflect current laws and policies, that percentage declines to 76.6% by 2040. Policy changes or technology breakthroughs that go beyond the trend improvements included in the Reference case could significantly change that projection.

In 2015, the renewable share of energy consumption in the U.S. was its largest since the 1930s, at nearly 10%. The greatest growth in renewables over the past decade has been in solar and wind electricity generation. Liquid biofuels have also increased in recent years, contributing to the growing renewable share of total energy consumption.

The most significant decline in recent years has been coal: U.S. coal consumption fell 13% in 2015, the highest annual percentage decrease of any fossil fuel in the past 50 years. The only similar declines were in 2009 and 2012, when coal fell 12% below the level in the previous year.

In EIA's Reference case projection, petroleum consumption remains similar to current levels through 2040, as fuel economy improvements and other changes in the transportation sector offset growth in population and travel. Coal consumption continues to decline, especially in the electric power sector. Natural gas consumption increases in the industrial sector and the electric power sector.

Some electric fuels, such as nuclear and hydroelectric, remain relatively flat in the Reference case, with little change in capacity or generation through 2040. Biomass, which includes wood as well as liquid biofuels like ethanol and biodiesel, remain relatively flat, as wood use declines and biofuel use increases slightly. In contrast, wind and solar are among the fastest-growing energy sources in the projection, ultimately surpassing biomass and nuclear, and nearly exceeding coal consumption in the Reference case projection by 2040.

ABERDEEN -- Buckthorn Partners and the Arab Petroleum Investments Corp. (APICORP) have acquired Ashtead Technology, an independent provider of subsea equipment and services to the offshore oil and gas industry.

The undisclosed funding package from Buckthorn and APICORP will allow Ashtead to further expand its service offering through both organic and acquisition led growth. The investment will also enable Ashtead to expand its geographical reach, with the Middle East being a particular area of interest and focus for the company.

Buckthorn is a London-based investment firm, and APICORP a financial institution established by the ten member countries of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries.

Since its launch in 1985, Ashtead has grown to become a leading independent provider of subsea technology and services to the oil and gas industry with a strong customer base built on trust and quality. With offices in the UK, Houston and Singapore, Ashtead is focused on delivering cost savings and value-added services to its customers.

UK-based InfraStrata has acquired an extra 25% equity stake in Islandmagee Storage, the developer of a planned gas storage facility in Northern Ireland, from local publicly-owned firm Mutual Energy.Mutual, which joined the project in May 2008, runs Northern Ireland’s gas and power network. InfraStrata now owns 90% of the Islandmagee storage venture, with Mutual 10%. InfraStrata said it is envisaged that the Islandmagee gas storage facility will play an important role in future gas supply to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Great Britain, adding that its fast-acting salt cavern project there would provide fast supply of gas to meet short-term demand surges. The facility will have working gas storage capacity of 500mn m³. The project has already received €1.6mn ($1.8mn) from the EU.

French geophysical company CGG has been awarded an extensive multi-client program by the Instituto Nacional de Petroleo (INP) to acquire seismic data offshore Mozambique. CGG said on Thursday that the multi-survey program is designed to improve industry insight into the region’s geology and provide oil and gas companies with a greater level of understanding of the country’s prospectivity. The program includes a 2D survey of over 6,550 km in the offshore Rovuma basin, including blocks R5-A, R5-B and R5-C, and a large 3D survey over the Beira High in the Zambezi Delta.

Sterling Resources has announced the entrance into a gas sales agreement with British Gas Trading ('BGT'), a subsidiary of Centrica.  The agreement provides for Sterling's share of Breagh nominated gas volumes to be sold on a day ahead basis to the UK reference price at the National Balancing Point ('NBP').  The agreement is valid for a minimum two year period with gas made available to BGT commencing October 1 , 2016.  The agreement replaces the gas trading and services agreement with Vitol which expires on October 1, 2016 .'We are pleased to enter into this agreement with British Gas Trading who are a leading gas marketing company within the UK,' commented John Rapach, CEO of Sterling Resources.  He added, 'The agreement provides for a secure gas sales arrangement for the Company's interest gas production from the Breagh Field over the next two years.'
