石油圈中国石化新闻网讯 据普氏能源资讯网新加坡4月4日消息，日本三菱化学公司周三表示，公司位于沙特朱拜勒合资新建的甲基丙烯酸甲酯（MMA）和聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯（PMMA）装置已经开始商业化运行。
这两套装置的投资约为3.6亿美元，设计年产25万吨MMA和4万吨的PMMA。
这两套装置由沙特甲基丙烯酸酯公司（SAMAC）负责运营。SAMAC是三菱化学公司和沙特基础工业公司的合资公司，双方均持股50%。

Japan’s Mitsubishi Chemical starts commercial operations at Saudi MMA, PMMA plants Japan’s Mitsubishi Chemical started commercial operations of its new joint venture methyl methacrylate monomer and polymethyl methacrylate plants at al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia, on Monday, the company said Wednesday. The plants can produce 250,000 mt/year of MMA and 40,000 mt/year of PMMA and cost about $360 million to build. They are operated by The Saudi Methacrylates Co., or SAMAC, a 50:50 joint venture between Mitsubishi Chemical Corp. and Saudi Basic Industries Corp., or Sabic.
