Still, “this will not benefit OPEC because non-OPEC supply is also growing,” analysts at Commerzbank argued in a note Wednesday. The global supply of tight oil is set to increase further and the call on OPEC that it estimated for 2019 has been reduced by 600,000 barrels a day to roughly 33 million barrels a day and should remain at that level until 2025.
