That as the investment bank notes that unlike the gloomy backdrop of 2H15, oil prices at the moment have a lesser role in the overall global environment because the US economy is improving, China has thus far experienced a soft landing and global growth seems more positive. “But there are some warning signs, and it is impossible to rule out that eventually once again we get to the point where oil prices become systemic.” For example, the US economy–though growing–is doing so at modest rates. Meanwhile, there’s a continued lack of inflation globally China has been tightening financial conditions in efforts to leverage levels.
