Libyan Oil Output Continues to Rise
As if the world didn’t already have enough crude, Libyan oil output continues to rise. Libya’s National Oil Corporation aims for the country’s crude oil production to reach 900,000 barrels a day this week, and are expecting output to reach 1 million during July, analysts at ING Bank write in a report. There has been a rapid recovery in Libyan oil output over the last year, which totaled just 300,000 barrels a day over 3Q16, the bank says.
